Introduction
The membership of the
The St. Patrick’s Conference, Maynooth of the St. Vincent de
Paul Society consists of ten full and four auxiliary members.
The Conference is a visitation group and its mission is to seek
and find those in our Parish who are forgotten. It also helps
people experiencing some form of crisis in their lives and in
particular cases to ease the burden of poverty. Ideally every
person or family in need of material help and friendship, which
our Conference members can offer, should receive that help.
In reality some people, perhaps fearful of “neighbours talking”,
will not contact us. It is important therefore to stress that
all our contacts and the services we offer as Vincentians are
totally confidential.
Anyone needing help from our Conference can
contact us in one of the following ways and a follow-up visit
will be made as quickly as possible:-
1). Leave a letter at “Fred’s Fashions”
(St. Vincent de Paul Shop)
in Greenfield’s Shopping Centre, Maynooth, Tel: 01-6289643.
2). Contacting the Parish Office on Tel: 01-6293018
3). Contacting St. Vincent de Paul Head Office, New Cabra
Road, Dublin on Tel: 01-8384164.
